The CAPA India Aviation Summit is the leading knowledge-building and networking forum in the world’s fastest growing aviation market.
CAPA will launch the summit by presenting our annual India outlook for FY2018/19, including traffic forecasts and analysis of capacity trends, yields, profitability, fleet orders, capital raising activities and strategic plans. The outlook, which leverages our strength as the region’s leading aviation advisory and research practice, will set the scene for two days of informed debate.
With key stakeholders from India and abroad represented at the highest level, the summit will address topical issues such as the impact of the proposed privatisation of Air India; the outlook for long haul LCCs in India; the evolution of airline business models; the appetite for financing India’s 1000 aircraft order book; and the viability of regional operations.
Established since 2004, the CAPA India Aviation Summit is a must-attend event for any company with an exposure to Indian aviation.

CAPA estimates that up to USD45 billion of investment will be required for airport expansion and construction in India by 2030, to keep pace with the projected growth in airport traffic, which could approach 1 billion annual passengers by that date.
And infrastructure on the ground will need to be accompanied by initiatives to enhance airspace efficiency, capacity and safety. The growth of the sector will also create significant opportunities for associated activities including ground and cargo handling, duty free, retail and other non-aero activities.
The CAPA India Airport & Airspace Summit will discuss the appropriate development framework for the market, including issues such as planning, productivity, capital raising, foreign direct investment, economic regulation, the experience with PPP, the role of the Airports Authority of India, and the corporatisation of air navigation services.
With multiple airport-related business opportunities and tenders being launched in India over the next year, this event will provide attendees with a clear picture of the outlook for the sector. |
